feel the rain. I watch the sky turn day to night.
Birds sit with me. My flowers bloom. I am beautiful
and a welcome part of the garden. I am happy to
be of service.

Then one rainy morning
there it was.
It appeared like Jack’s beanstalk.
It stood 4 feet tall with looming dark green leaves
and a lily cup. By all definition, it was magic.
